Spring cleaning just got a lot easier — and more secure. Northwoods Credit Union is excited to invite you to our 18th Annual Shred & E-Shred Event, happening Friday, May 9th from 10 AM to 1 PM at our Stanley Avenue Branch (902 Stanley Ave, Cloquet).
This annual tradition is all about helping our community responsibly dispose of sensitive documents — and this year, we’re expanding our efforts to include electronic recycling too!
Why Attend?
Whether you’re drowning in old paperwork or have outdated electronics collecting dust, this is your chance to safely and securely clear the clutter. Bring your items to our drive-up event and we’ll make sure they’re shredded or recycled responsibly — protecting both your personal information and the environment.
What Can You Bring?
- Paper Documents for Shredding
- Scrap Electronics for E-Recycling, such as
- Desktops, laptops, phones, tablets
- Cable, wire
- TVs/Monitors (Recycling company recommended we limited to 1 per member)
- Printers, DVD Players radios, keyboards, etc.
What Not to Bring:
🚫 Light bulbs
🚫 Appliances (both major and minor)
🚫 Freon appliances
🚫 Batteries
🚫 Scrap metal
