Credit unions are local, not-for-profit financial institutions. We are focused on providing members with the tools to succeed. That is why we are partnering with the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council to offer $16,000 in scholarships to you, our members. A total of 16 applicants will be awarded a scholarship of $1,000.
Any Northwoods Credit Union member pursuing education in the fall of 2022 and spring of 2023 is eligible to apply and applications are being accepted through November 30, 2022. Scholarship deadline is November 30, 2022. To apply and learn more about the scholarship, click here.
Cut the cost of College: Scholarships Available
The application is now open for scholarships available exclusively to members of credit unions in Minnesota. In partnership with the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council, members of NCU are eligible for a total of $16,000 being awarded as $1,000 scholarships.

$16,000 in scholarships available to credit union members
In a partnership with the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC), Northwoods CU is pleased to offer a scholarship program exclusively to credit union members to help further their pursuit of education.
For the 2022-23 school year, $16,000 in scholarships will be awarded to college students in traditional (high school seniors entering college) and non-traditional categories.
Each recipient will be awarded $1,000 each.

Funds for the FSC’s scholarship program are raised each year from the Dice and Ice fundraising event and during the committee’s silent auction, which is held during the Minnesota Credit Union Network’s Annual Meeting & Convention.
